This villa stands in Marina, a small village of around 1,000 inhabitants set on the bay that shares its name, near Trogir in central Dalmatia. The sea and the beach lie 150 metres from the door, while the village centre, with its shops, café bar, pharmacy, ATM and small marina, is 300 metres away. Restaurants begin just 150 metres from the house, and the airport is 20 km away.
Good road links place three historic cities within easy reach: Trogir, protected by UNESCO, is 12 km away, and both Split and Šibenik are 36 km away. Marina itself has long lived from fishing and farming, and the hills above are planted with olive trees more than a century old. The village is overlooked by a picturesque fort, once the mansion of a 15th-century bishop of Trogir, and above it rises Mount Drid, where the ruins of the former seat of Drid County can still be seen. The St. Philip and James Cave lies along the old main road near Marina. The wider Marina Riviera also takes in the Dalmatian villages of Vinišće, Poljica and Sevid, with clear water, sandy beaches and unspoilt nature, and many beaches on which to find a quiet corner of your own.
Renovated in 2020, the villa offers 400 m2 of living space on a plot of 800 m2, arranged over three levels: a basement, a ground floor and a first floor, all linked by internal stairs. The private courtyard is a composition of white stone and Mediterranean planting, carefully decorated to create a calm retreat. At its heart is a heated pool measuring 8 by 4 metres, surrounded by sun loungers set on a terrace with underfloor heating, so the stone stays warm around the water. A heated outdoor shower stands beside the pool, and comfortable armchairs invite long afternoons spent reading or simply soaking up the sun. For dining outdoors there is a stone grill for preparing Dalmatian specialities, an outdoor sink with hot water and a dining table for eight. Families will appreciate the children's playground with a trampoline.
From the terrace, you step into the open-plan ground floor, a modern, warmly furnished space with a spacious living room centred on a large, comfortable sofa and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Alongside it are the fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with a table for eight, as well as a water dispenser offering both hot and cold water. A guest toilet completes this level.
Stairs lead up to the first floor, where four bedrooms of 30 m2 each have their own en suite bathrooms. Two have king-size beds and bathrooms with a bathtub, while the other two have twin beds that can be joined together and bathrooms with a shower. Every bedroom opens onto a balcony with a seating area, and three of them look out over the Adriatic Sea.
The basement is given over to wellbeing, with an equipped gym and a sauna, each with its own shower, plus a further toilet. Guests also have a tavern with a separate entrance, which can be arranged and suits both small family gatherings and larger occasions. The villa sits beside its sister properties, Thalia and Asteria, which together make it possible to host large groups for weddings, team-building events and family reunions.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen has a stove, oven, range hood, refrigerator with freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, juicer, blender, mixer, microwave and toaster, along with utensils, tableware and tea towels. There is also a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and a safe, and a cot and high chair are available for younger guests. Free parking for four vehicles is provided on the property, together with an electric vehicle charging station.
