This beachfront villa stands only 20 metres from the sea and a pebble beach, 1 km from the centre of Sutivan on the island of Brač. Sutivan, on the northwest side of Brač, the largest island in Croatia, is a picturesque Dalmatian village with a history of some 1,700 years. It is known for its unhurried pace of life, good food, crystal-clear water, pebble beaches and pine trees. Renaissance estates, baroque palaces and stone houses show how rich life here has long been, and the village keeps its calm even in high summer.
Sutivan makes a good base for exploring the island. Zlatni Rat, the celebrated Golden Horn beach, the restaurants of the island's interior and the Blaca desert are all a short drive away. The village is also popular with cyclists for its many trails, and with sailors for its marina, 1 km from the villa. A café bar is 150 metres away, while restaurants, shops and the bus station are about 1 km off. The ferry is 8 km away and the airport 23 km.
The house has 140 m² of living space on a 400 m² plot, arranged over three floors linked by an internal staircase. Life centres on the large ground-floor terrace, where a heated overflow pool with hydromassage faces the sea. Beside it are a sun terrace with loungers, a jacuzzi for four that is shared, and an outdoor shower. There is also a covered dining area with a table and chairs, a stone barbecue and an outdoor fireplace, with lounge furniture and greenery in the courtyard. It is a fine setting for long evenings over Dalmatian specialities.
A large glass sliding door opens from the terrace into the ground floor. Inside is a modern living room with a sofa, an armchair and a smart TV, alongside a dining room with a table and chairs and a guest toilet. The modern kitchen has Miele appliances, including a stove, oven, hood, refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher and microwave. It also has a wine fridge, an espresso machine, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer and a blender.
The two upper floors are given over to sleep and rest. On the first floor, one bedroom has a king-size bed, a comfortable sofa and seating, satellite TV, air conditioning and a designer bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. A second bedroom on this floor also has a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom. The second floor holds a third bedroom with a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with a shower, satellite TV, air conditioning and a balcony with sea views.
The villa sleeps six, and up to eight using the sofa bed in the living room and two single folding beds. It is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi, satellite smart TVs, a washer-dryer, a hairdryer and ironing equipment. A baby cot and a high chair are provided. Garage parking is available for an additional fee of €15 per day. Small pets up to 10 kg are accepted on request for a surcharge of €20 per night. Weddings and events are not permitted.
