This modern villa stands in the village of Splitska on the Adriatic island of Brač, around 1,000 m from the village centre. It sits on a quiet 2,200 m² plot surrounded by olive trees and greenery, a restful retreat for families and friends who want to step away from city life.
Splitska lies on the island's northern coast, 7 km east of Supetar with its nightlife and 2 km from Postira, home to one of Croatia's best-known sandy beaches. Its position makes it easy to explore the whole island by car. In the village you can visit the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which holds significant works of art, and a square tower that survives from the former castle of the Cerinić family. In the shallow part of the harbour, submerged remains of the ancient port are still visible. Splitska suits those who enjoy local food and wine in a genuine Mediterranean setting. Restaurants and a bus station are about 1 km away, shops and a pharmacy about 7 km, the ferry 7 km and the airport 18 km.
The villa offers more than 290 m² of living space, and its facade is partly clad in the white stone typical of Brač. Exterior steps lead up from the entrance to the courtyard and terrace, where the heated 12 x 5 m outdoor pool is lined with deck chairs and sunshades, and pool towels are provided. An outdoor shower, a barbecue, an outdoor dining area and a lounge set are laid out within the Mediterranean garden, and the villa also has a gym.
The ground floor is arranged around a spacious dining area with a table for ten and a fully equipped, high-quality kitchen suited to preparing both international and local dishes. A comfortable, stylish living room with a sofa and satellite TV invites rest after a day in the sun. One of the villa's five bathrooms is also on this level.
An interior staircase rises to the first floor, a calm sleeping level with four bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a modern en suite bathroom. One has a bathtub and three have showers. Every bedroom opens onto a balcony furnished with sofas and looking out to the sea. One extra single bed is available, so the villa sleeps up to eight guests plus one.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. Other equipment includes a Blu-ray player, a hairdryer, and a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has a stove, oven, range hood, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, ice maker and wine cooler, as well as utensils, cutlery, dishes, glasses and tea towels. A baby cot and a high chair are available, six bicycles are provided free of charge, and a free 120 m² outdoor parking area is on the property.
