This beachfront villa stands on the northwest coast of Brač, Croatia's largest island, about 20 metres from the sea and a pebble beach and 1 km from the centre of Sutivan. A café bar lies some 150 metres away, while shops, restaurants, the bus station and the marina are each about 1 km off. The ferry port is 8 km away and the airport 23 km.
Sutivan is an unhurried Dalmatian settlement with a history of some 1,700 years, its Renaissance estates, baroque palaces and stone houses framed by pine trees and clear water. Traditional taverns serve Dalmatian dishes, the mild climate suits outdoor pursuits, and an extensive network of trails has made the area a favoured cycling destination. Sutivan also makes a fine base for exploring the island: the Golden Horn beach, inland restaurants and the Blaca hermitage are all a short drive away.
Renovated in 2019, the villa offers 140 m² of living space across three floors linked by an internal staircase, set on a 400 m² plot with greenery in the courtyard. It sleeps six, with room for two more on single folding beds. The ground-floor terrace is the heart of the house, centred on a heated overflow pool with hydromassage and sea views. Beside it, a sun terrace with loungers, a shared jacuzzi for four and an outdoor shower sits alongside a covered dining area with table and chairs, a lounge set, a stone barbecue and an outdoor fireplace.
A wide glass sliding door opens from the terrace into the ground floor, where a modern living room has a sofa, armchair and smart TV. A dining area with table and chairs adjoins a fully equipped modern kitchen with Miele appliances, a well-stocked wine fridge, stove, oven, hood, refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, juicer, toaster and kettle. A guest toilet completes this level.
The two upper floors are given over to rest. On the first floor, a bedroom with a king-size bed, a comfortable sofa and seating has a designer bathroom with both shower and bathtub, along with satellite TV and air conditioning, and a second en-suite bedroom shares the floor. The second floor holds another bedroom with a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with shower, satellite TV, air conditioning and a balcony with sea views.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi throughout, with satellite smart TVs, a washer and dryer, ironing equipment and a hairdryer. Families will find a baby cot and high chair, and a garage parking space is available for an additional fee.
