Set right by the sea on the shore of Slano, this villa sits just three metres from the water and its private beach, 700 m from the centre of the village and 30 km from the heart of Dubrovnik. Renovated in 2021, it offers 260 m2 of living space on a 310 m2 plot and is arranged for up to eight guests, with room for two more.
The wider Dubrovnik area is known for its picturesque landscapes, rich Mediterranean vegetation, mild climate and characterful settlements, with more than 250 sunny days a year and a bathing season that runs from April to October. The city, once the seat of the Republic of Dubrovnik, lies at the foot of Mount Srđ and takes its name from the oak forest, dubrava. Its Old Town, the main street Stradun, Fort Lovrijenac and the islands of Lopud and Koločep all reward exploration, while restaurants such as Stara Loza, Taj Mahal and Bistro Tavulin are recognised by the Michelin Guide. Closer to home, restaurants and a café bar are 400 m away, shops, a pharmacy, a doctor, an ATM and a tennis court are 700 m away, the marina is 1.1 km off and the airport is 52 km away.
The yard is given over to a 28 m2 private pool with views of the sea and the town, along with a jacuzzi, sun loungers for slow afternoons and a dining table for ten. Deck chairs are set out both by the pool and by the sea, and pool towels are provided.
The villa rises over three floors linked by internal stairs. On the ground floor, the living room and the fully equipped kitchen with its dining area open through a folding glass door straight onto the pool. This level also holds a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a shared toilet.
Upstairs, the first floor has two bedrooms with double beds and en-suite shower rooms, fronted by a spacious terrace from which to watch both sunrise and sunset. The top floor is laid out as an apartment with two single beds, a bathroom with a shower and a living room with views of the bay, where a sofa bed sleeps two additional guests.
The villa is air-conditioned and heated, with Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, induction hob, oven, kettle, juicer, blender and coffee maker, and there is also a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. A baby cot and high chair are available, parking is provided, and the stay includes a welcome package, a villa manager, concierge service, first and final cleaning and a weekly change of towels and bed linen.
