Since 2015, Villa Millelodi has been completely renovated and now offers an abundance of indulgent features and facilities. Top Italian architects, artisans, and material suppliers completed the renovation ensuring that every detail sticks to the original personality of the home. In addition, aside from completing the Villa, they also helped to bring two adjoining properties back to life. These are all elegant buildings constructed three centuries ago and beautifully completed and fitted for the 21st century.

THE VILLA:
GROUND FLOOR:
This is Villa Millelodi's most prominent space. It offers guests unobstructed views of the landscape from north to south, right through the living and dining room windows in the property. The ground floor is decked out with a neat blend of fittings, both classical and new, including original Tessieri tiles, Murano chandeliers, a fireplace, and furniture of antique and modern Italian design.

Guests will also enjoy the kitchen with its classical setup and in-painted boiserie, and the perfectly designed library featuring elmwood and wood panelling.

THE FIRST FLOOR:
The first floor boasts colourful cement tiles, Murano chandeliers, tasteful antique furniture, and beautiful marbled bathrooms. Rest in the peaceful setting of the intimate salon, surrounded by three spectacular suites.

THE SECOND FLOOR:
The property's top floor consists of three wonderful bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a common living room area. Here, guests will find themselves under the original ceilings of wooden beams and terracotta, with terracotta tiles beneath their feet. The property is timeless, classic, and rustic all in one, while still providing all of the modern comforts to make your vacation an unforgettable one.

THE BASEMENT:
In the villa's basement, you will find a beautiful, brand-new spa filled with first-class and contemporary facilities. These include a sauna, a hammam, a heated pool with hydromassage jets, and a lounge room with a television. This is a perfect place to spend a few hours in the afternoon relaxing and rejuvenating your mind, body, and soul. As a result, you are guaranteed to feel rested before you return home after the most spectacular vacation.

The villa is also perfect for elderly people as it features an elevator that reaches all four levels of the home, making it very easy for anyone with reduced mobility to roam around the house in total freedom and independence.

THE FARMHOUSE – CASA DEL CONTADINO:
The Casa Del Contadino was once a farmhouse. It can be used as a dependence by your staff, being discreetly independent of the rest of the Villa.

On request, the Casa del Contadino can also be used by guests to reach eighteen beds. If you are travelling with a large group of family and friends, because it is separate from the main villa, it allows guests, families, and couples extra space and privacy. This also permits them to enjoy a family vacation while housed in a private space. Plus, its heritage-protected barn offers superior accommodation for up to six people.

The house has a comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove displaying an attractive hand-painted mural. A classically stylish kitchen offers a full range of cooking facilities. Each suite on the property has a unique character and boasts a comfortable and stylish bathroom, carefully finished with terracotta floors.

THE GARDENS:
The gardens are truly the most exquisite and alluring part of the property. Villa Millelodi's enchanting gardens are as attractive as the overall estate but this is where you will want to spend most of your time throughout your vacation. Equipped for relaxing and spending time with loved ones, the gardens embody luxury, peace, and beauty.

Stepping into the two-hectare space, you will feel instantly at ease. The gardens offer a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful location, ideal for a special occasion or wedding celebration. The new wedding garden is a major attraction for guests. In a romantic white marble gazebo designed by Luc Van Marcke, newlywed couples can exchange their vows underneath a cascading canopy of white wisteria, surrounded by magnificent magnolia trees.

Enjoy an afternoon stroll in the Central Garden of the estate to experience the sights and smells of a classical Italian garden. Among them feature several fountains, hedges, and cypresses – all set against an evocative panorama of Tuscan hills.

Located on the other side of the Italian Garden, the swimming pool area is the perfect spot for soaking in the sun or enjoying a refreshing swim in the large outdoor pool. Lay out on a comfortable sunbed under a stylish parasol, this will be a perfect place to relax on those extra-hot summer days. Sip on a refreshing cocktail to finish a day spent in paradise.

Villa Millelodi is located in the quaint village of Vorno, well-known since the 1400s. Since the 18th century, Vorno has become one of the most attractive places to live around Lucca, particularly in the summer when high society leaves the bustling city to go to rural Vorno with its milder temperatures, peaceful surroundings, and quieter ambience.

Villa Millelodi can be rented on a 6-bedroom or 9-bedroom basis. The cottage offers a simpler interior and finishes, but it is elegant and comfortable, nevertheless. The estate is also just a short ten-minute drive from the historical centre of Lucca and 30 minutes from coastal cities such as Forte dei Marmi or Viareggio.
