Hiera is a phenomenal example of traditional Puglian architecture, where former rural housing has been renovated and restored with quality materials whilst maintaining the original character. Hiera has three separate buildings, conceived as three separate environments that harmoniously create one extraordinary setting.

Hiera's three homes are The Trulli, The Lamia, and The Saraceno. Across the villa, there are 7 bedrooms, 2 kitchens; 3 living rooms (one of which is very large); and various outdoor spaces that revolve around the large swimming pool.

The Trulli is established around the ancient structure of the same name. Trulli are traditional structures made of carved stone with pointed-dome roofs and thick walls that also offer round open floor plans. The Trulli is composed of 4 Trulli and offers two large double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. The expansive living room overlooks the pool and features a fireplace - perfect for cool evenings in the off-season.

The Lamia is a renovated farm building with five trulli and is the backbone of the resort, offering spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, each individually designed and equipped with modern comforts. The Lamia is composed of 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and can accommodate 10 guests: 3 double bedrooms and 1 quadruple (2 bunk beds).

The Saraceno, also called the Tower of Ostuni, is discreetly tucked away and boasts its own veranda. Exceptional for its size, this home is equipped with a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. From the terraced dome roof, take in the olive groves and flowering grasslands enveloping the resort - perfect for relaxation or sunbathing. There is an additional double bed in the living area.

Like everywhere in southern Italy, life takes place mainly outdoors at Hiera, where the exterior areas are a place to come together or have moments of private contemplation. Relax on the stylish loungers by the pool or sunbathe on the masonry sun beds; hang out on the casual bean bags; sit in the garden; share a pizza fresh from the outdoor pizza oven in the pergola; explore the olive grove; and keep in shape in the gym housed within the pool house - at Hiera the choice is yours!
