White Lodge
A cinematic Icelandic lodge pairs smoky timber interiors with Scandinavian softness on the shores of Lake Þingvellir.
Unique Features
- · Movie-set-like lodge where Hollywood style meets Icelandic wilderness
- · Located off the beaten track within Iceland's famous Golden Circle
- · Overlooks Lake Thingvellir
Hollywood drama meets Icelandic restraint at this highly individual lodge overlooking Lake Þingvellir in Þingvellir National Park. Its deep, smoky timber structure forms a rich counterpoint to plush Scandinavian furnishings and a white-marble bathroom, creating interiors that feel both atmospheric and warmly composed.
Collected objects and black-and-white photography line the walls, while the open fireplace offers an inviting place to watch ripples move across the quiet lake below. Designed for restorative stays, the lodge brings together indoor and outdoor kitchens, a hot tub and a Nordic sauna.
Set away from the main routes within the Golden Circle area, the cinematic property was constructed with care for its natural setting. Privacy and warmth define the experience, complemented by a discreet, highly professional team available throughout the stay.
