The Lakehouse is beautifully presented wilderness retreat located just 50 minutes from Reykjavik and nestled on the serene shores of Álftavatn Lake. This elegantly designed 170-square-meter property accommodates up to 12 guests, offering stunning panoramic views of the lake, surrounding mountains, and a nearby black sand beach.

The lakehouse’s interiors are both inviting and sophisticated, featuring an open-concept living area with a cozy fireplace, dining space, and fully equipped kitchen. These communal areas are arranged to maximize both space and light, ensuring a warm and comfortable environment for relaxation after a day out exploring the surroundings. The kitchen is outfitted with modern appliances, including an espresso coffee maker, refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Álftavík Lakehouse is also equipped with modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and a satellite TV.

The accommodation includes a master bedroom with a TV and seating area, a king bedroom adjacent to an entertainment area with a sleeping couch, and another king bedroom with a private WC. A separate guesthouse with a king bed provides additional privacy - ideal for couples or teenagers. 

Outside, the lakehouse boasts a stunning infinity hot tub, providing a peaceful spot to unwind while enjoying the scenic lakefront views. Additional outdoor features include an outdoor fireplace and a private firepit located on the beach for cozy evenings under the stars.
