Riverside
A light-filled, fully serviced South Iceland villa pairing contemporary interiors with panoramic countryside views and generous outdoor living.
Unique Features
- · Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the living area with natural light
Set amid the countryside of South Iceland, Riverside is a spacious modern retreat combining contemporary design, panoramic views and a convenient location for exploring the Golden Circle.
Arranged across two levels and spanning 320 sq. m, the villa is filled with natural light, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing views across the surrounding landscape. Designer furnishings and carefully selected art pieces complement the modern interiors, while a cosy fireplace creates an inviting focal point within the open living area.
The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the main living space, providing a sociable setting for dining and spending time together. The villa also features two separate TV rooms and a dedicated office working area, offering plenty of space for guests to spread out during their stay.
Outside, a large balcony makes the most of the countryside views and features a BBQ and outdoor entertaining facilities. An outdoor jacuzzi provides a relaxing spot to unwind after a day exploring South Iceland.
Riverside accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Three bedrooms feature 180cm double beds, including one with an ensuite bathroom, while the fourth can be configured as either a double or twin with two 90cm beds. There are 2½ bathrooms in total, with features including a double shower and steam sauna.
Located in the Skálholt region, approximately 60 minutes by car from Reykjavik, the villa is well positioned for discovering some of Iceland’s best-known natural attractions. Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir are all accessible from the property, alongside hiking trails and opportunities for horseback riding, fishing and day trips into the Highlands and across South Iceland.
Riverside comes fully serviced, including exclusive use of the property, a personal host, daily housekeeping, host-prepared breakfast, a chef-prepared three-course dinner, and tea and coffee.
