Set in the Grímsnes region of South Iceland, Birki is an architecturally designed, single-level retreat surrounded by Icelandic nature and ideally placed for exploring the Golden Circle.
Spanning 176 sq. m, the villa features top designer furnishings and large windows that fill the interiors with natural daylight. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the living area, creating a bright and comfortable space for relaxing after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.
Outside, a large furnished patio offers two separate seating areas and an inbuilt BBQ, providing plenty of space for outdoor dining and entertaining. An outdoor jacuzzi and cold plunge complete the setting, alongside a basketball hoop area.
Birki has four bedrooms and sleeps 7–8 guests, with accommodation for seven adults and one child. The bedrooms feature one 180cm double bed, two 160cm double beds and one 140cm double bed. There are two full bathrooms with showers, while an additional adjoining cabin provides a further 140cm double bed and shower.
The villa also includes laundry facilities, hair dryers, TVs and Wi-Fi.
Located approximately 60 minutes by car from Reykjavik, Birki offers convenient access to Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir, as well as hiking, golfing, horseback riding, fishing and day trips through the Highlands and South Iceland.
Birki is fully serviced and includes exclusive use of the property, a personal host, daily housekeeping, host-prepared breakfast, chef-prepared three-course dinner, and tea and coffee.
