Set on the banks of the River Sogið in South Iceland, South Bank is a contemporary, architecturally designed retreat surrounded by picturesque countryside and views towards the nearby mountains.
Arranged across a single level and spanning 150 sq. m, the villa has been designed with a relaxed, home-style feel. The open-plan living space combines sleek modern décor with carefully selected furnishings and designer art, while large windows connect the interiors with the surrounding landscape.
The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the living area, creating a sociable space for preparing meals and spending time together. High-speed Wi-Fi and laundry facilities are also provided.
Outside, a spacious south-facing patio provides an inviting setting for enjoying the peaceful surroundings, complete with a BBQ station and outdoor jacuzzi. The property also has an electric car charging port.
For guests who want to stay active during their visit, the villa has a dedicated fitness room equipped with a Cybex professional treadmill, Echelon spinning bike with interactive workouts, dumbbells and kettlebells.
South Bank has two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps four guests, with space for up to six using the high-quality 160cm pull-out bed in the living room. Both bedrooms feature 180cm double beds. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has access to an additional bathroom located across the hall, which also provides direct access to the outdoor jacuzzi area.
Located in the Grimsnes region, approximately 60 minutes by car from Reykjavik, South Bank is well placed for exploring the Golden Circle. Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir are all accessible from the villa, alongside hiking, fishing and day trips through the Highlands and South Iceland.
Guests can choose between hosted and non-hosted stays. The hosted option includes exclusive use of the property, a personal host, daily housekeeping, host-prepared breakfast, a chef-prepared three-course dinner, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The non-hosted option includes exclusive use of the property, meet and greet, and final cleaning.
