Villa Aurora stands in Vabriga, on the west coast of Istria, 2 km from the sea, 10 km from the town of Poreč and 8 km from the town of Novigrad. Vabriga is a small, quiet place that offers calm and rest away from noise and crowds, yet Poreč and Novigrad, both lively tourist centres with rich cultural and culinary offerings, numerous events and summer festivities, can be reached in around 10 minutes by car.
Tar-Vabriga sits between the sea and the river Mirna, and like the rest of Istria it is shaped by deep-rooted tradition, fine gastronomy and a landscape of vineyards and olive groves that produce some of the most celebrated olive oils in Europe. For the energy of town life and a wider range of facilities, Poreč lies 10 km away. One of the best-known destinations in Istria, it combines a historic heritage protected by UNESCO with landscaped beaches, marinas, traditional taverns and a vibrant nightlife, offering everything needed for a complete summer holiday.
The villa occupies a plot of 400 m2 and offers 280 m2 of living space arranged over two floors, the ground floor and the first floor. It is enclosed by a spacious, carefully landscaped garden that provides complete privacy and makes an ideal setting for long, hot summer days with family or friends. At its heart is the swimming pool, lined with sun loungers and shaded by sunshades, with pool towels provided. A covered terrace holds a barbecue and summer outdoor kitchen for preparing meals in the open air, along with an outdoor dining table for 8 people.
From the garden, a large glass door opens into the living room, furnished with close attention to detail in a palette of grey and silver tones, with comfortable sofas and a large LCD satellite TV. Beyond lie the kitchen and dining room, where a table seats 8 people; both the modern, fully equipped kitchen and the dining area also open directly onto the garden. In the main part of the ground floor is a bedroom with a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with shower, which also has access to the garden. A second bedroom occupies a separate part of the ground floor with its own entrance from the garden, and is likewise furnished with a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with shower.
A staircase rises to the first floor, where two further bedrooms are found. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, an en suite bathroom with both bathtub and shower, and access to its own private terrace. The second bedroom on this level also has a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with shower. Crowning the house is a roof terrace with a lovely view over the surrounding nature. In all, the villa offers four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and comfortably accommodates 8 guests.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, range hood, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker, together with kitchen utensils, cutlery, dishes, glasses and tea towels. A washing machine, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer complete the practical comforts, and private parking is available on the property.
