Overlooking the Aegean on the northeastern coast of Paros, this summer retreat sits in the area of Santa Maria, only 150 metres from the sandy sweep of Santa Maria Beach. It is a complex of two units, a main villa and a guest house, with a combined living area of 442 square metres arranged across several levels. Together they sleep 14 guests in seven bedrooms with six bathrooms. Sea views carry through the interiors and out across the terraces, and the elegant, understated rooms suit families and groups of all ages.
The fishing village of Naoussa lies 3.5 km away, and the port of Parikia is 15 km away. Paros Airport is 25 km from the house.
Outdoors, the gardens are planted with vineyards, olive trees and colourful flowers, giving the setting a calm Cycladic feel. The private infinity pool, with its sculpted edge facing the sea, is lined with sunbeds. Around it are shaded dining areas, shaded seating and lounge areas, terraces and a charcoal barbecue. For play there is table tennis, a beach volleyball court and a children's playground.
The ground level of the main villa opens from the entrance into a living room with a TV, air conditioning and a fireplace. It leads straight onto the terrace and pool and looks out over both the pool and the sea. Beside it are a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a guest WC. Two bedrooms on this level also open onto the terrace and pool and share a bathroom with a shower. One has a double bed, and the other has twin beds that can be joined into a double.
On the upper level, the main villa's principal bedroom has a double bed and an en suite shower room. It also has air conditioning, a TV, a walk-in wardrobe, a lounge area and its own fireplace, with direct access to a private sea-view terrace. The lower ground level is given over to relaxation. Here a play room has a lounge area, TV, bar and kitchenette, and a library room has a built-in sofa. This level also holds a double bedroom with an en suite shower room and air conditioning, lit by two skylights.
The guest house sits at pool level. Its living room has a TV, air conditioning and a fireplace, with access to the terrace and pool and views of both the sea and the pool. It flows into a dining area and an open-plan kitchen with a wine cooler. The guest house has three bedrooms, all with air conditioning and direct terrace and pool access. Two have double beds and en suite shower rooms, and the third has twin beds that can be joined into a double, served by a separate bathroom with a shower. During the low-season months, the main villa can also be rented on its own for up to 8 guests. In that case guests keep full use of the pool, all outdoor spaces and the guest house's common areas.
Air conditioning runs throughout the bedrooms and living rooms. Both units have indoor and outdoor sound systems, along with satellite TV and WiFi. Across the complex there are two kitchens and a kitchenette, a washing machine, hairdryers, a safe box and parking. Baby cots and a highchair are available on request. Smoking is not allowed indoors, and pets and events are not permitted.
