This 1940s residence was completely renovated in 2014, creating a unique abode with careful attention given to every detail. Here, guests can indulge in a relaxing private holiday or celebrate a special event or anniversary in the utmost comfort and style.

The property is very easy to reach, located less than 60 km from Milan Malpensa International Airport, arrival by motorway or by train from Milan Central Station only takes about an hour. It is also less than 5 km from Stresa and a few kilometres from Switzerland, in particular in the historic town of Ascona.
Villa Lago is divided over three floors and has the typical architecture of villas dating back to the 1940s. The furnishings are elegant, sober and refined, with a deliberately retro accent and all the rooms are decorated with oil paintings and watercolours made by a local artist.
The living area is located on the ground floor where there is also a lounge, overlooking the private garden, and a large veranda with curtains and a lake view. Guests can relax in front of the fireplace on the white leather Chesterfield sofas, enjoy one of the liqueurs contained in an elegant vintage bar cabinet, play chess on the old game table, or sit and watch TV in the cosy living room. The hall is embellished with an old Austrian grand piano, fully restored and in working order.
The living room leads to the stainless steel kitchen equipped with professional tools, and featuring a large window overlooking the park. Finally, there is a dining room, a toilet and another living room with a television and sofa, which if necessary can be transformed into the sixth bedroom with a double bed. This room overlooks a pergola equipped with a dining table and barbecue, where you can have a meal near the swimming pool while enjoying the lake views.
The wellness and fitness area occupies the entire basement, which can be accessed directly from the garden, or the living area. It is a large space with a jacuzzi, Turkish bath, gym, relaxation beds, herbal tea corner, private bathroom with shower and a fully equipped laundry room.
Next to the wellness area, a multifunctional area with direct garden access has been designed. Here, guests will find a television and lounging space with cosy sofas, armchairs and a large table.
The garden and swimming pool are designed across different levels, ascending from the entrance gate to the pine forest. The pool occupies a prime location on a terrace at ground level, providing a picturesque lake view while swimming.
Surrounding the pool, the lawn is furnished with stylish deck chairs, umbrellas, a large table, and an external shower. An ancient stone staircase connects all terraces up to the pine forest, offering wonderful views. Additionally, there's a playground for children within the property and a spacious garage for added convenience.
The listed price at Villa Lago represents the cost for up to 10 guests, but the villa can accommodate a total of 13 guests.
