The Branson Estate at Moskito Island is perched on a dramatic outcrop located in the North Sound of the British Virgin Islands, in the eastern Caribbean Sea and offers the ultimate getaway featuring 3 exquisite luxury villas: Mangrove Villa, Headland House and Beach Villa.
Mangrove Villa is a 4-bedroom villa also including a Master Suite. This villa was inspired by Richard’s son, and all guest rooms face east towards Necker Island and to the island of Virgin Gorda. The villa is nestled in amongst the mangrove trees, all rooms are elevated and connected both to Headland House and the neighbouring Beach Villa by wooden walkways. The rich wood interiors make for a cosy feel with Balinese-style objects and carvings throughout.
On the ground floor of the main villa is a large lounge, fully-equipped kitchen, two breakfast bars and dining table, all looking out onto a deck which leads directly onto the infinity edge pool and Jacuzzi. With a full-size fridge, separate temperature-controlled wine fridge and additional drinks fridge in the kitchen, you only have to worry about keeping yourself cool. Luckily if the sea breezes aren’t enough, the villa is fully air-conditioned and there’s always the pool of course.
Guests of The Branson Estate also have access to two tennis courts and a gym. The Tennis Pavilion has a wonderfully relaxing observation area overlooking the two tennis courts on the island. The grandstand steps work well as a seating area for spectators and also for movie nights. Downstairs is a gym and wellness facility. Upstairs are loungers and chairs overlooking both the courts and the seafront, along with coffee-making facilities.
Next to the tennis courts on the beach is a water sports centre. Activities include stand-up paddle boarding, kiting, wakeboarding, Hobie cat sailing and snorkelling. Most activities are included in the rates however if the activity involves leaving the island or if a boat with a motor is required then a charge will apply. Motorised water sports are at an additional charge.
