Situated within the coveted Luberon Mountain region, this elegantly renovated stone farmhouse presents a tranquil countryside setting overlooking olive groves and the expansive Luberon Valley. Located just minutes from the popular village of Gordes, the property harmoniously blends updated amenities with authentic Provençal character, making it an ideal retreat for families or groups of up to ten guests.
The estate spans one hectare (2.5 acres) of slightly elevated terrain, offering a quiet ambiance within a small hamlet of farmhouses. Guests can enjoy multiple terrace areas designed for leisurely meals or relaxation, with views extending across the Luberon Valley. An inviting covered terrace provides outdoor dining for ten, complemented by shaded and grassy areas, ten sun loungers, and a Weber gas grill. For recreation, a boules court is available. The private swimming pool measures 12m x 6m with a consistent depth of 1.5m, featuring three entry steps and secured by an alarm. Pool heating is available upon request from May to October for a supplement of 300€, subject to weather conditions.
Inside, the bright living room flows into a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a full-sized American refrigerator, Nespresso and filter coffee machines, and a back kitchen with an additional fridge. Indoor dining is arranged for ten people. A private office with a desk offers a dedicated workspace, while a games room provides entertainment with a pool table and television. A separate WC with a sink is also available.
The farmhouse accommodates ten guests across five bedrooms, each equipped with air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom. On the ground floor, Bedroom 1 features a King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, shower, two sinks, and a WC. Bedroom 2 offers two Twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, two sinks, and a WC. The second story includes Bedroom 3 with a King bed and an ensuite bathroom (shower, two sinks, WC). Bedroom 4 provides two Twin beds or a King bed, with an ensuite bathroom (shower, sink, WC). Bedroom 5 features a Queen bed and an ensuite bathroom (shower, sink, WC). Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom, and extra or roll-away beds, a baby crib, and a high chair are available upon request.
Additional amenities include fiber optic internet, satellite TV, a washer and dryer, and an iron with an ironing board. All linens and pool towels are provided. A house manager/caretaker is on site. Maid service includes end-of-stay cleaning and a two-hour mid-week cleaning; additional hours can be arranged. Linens are changed weekly. Please note that maids are not responsible for guest dishes, pots, pans, or personal laundry.
The property is conveniently located in the Gordes countryside, approximately 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from the village, offering easy access to other renowned Luberon villages such as Ménerbes, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux, and Roussillon. The location is also well-suited for exploring the broader region, with Aix en Provence to the south, the Côte du Rhône wine region to the north, and the Alpilles region to the southwest. The historic town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, known for its antiques and market, is less than a 20-minute drive. Travel to the region is typically via Marseille International Airport (MRS) or by TGV from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Avignon TGV, followed by a car rental.
