When to Visit
Temperature units
The best time to visit St Barts is generally from Thanksgiving in late November to New Year, the island's peak period, when daytime highs typically sit around 26°C–28°C and monthly rainfall drops sharply after November. January and March are typically among the driest months. Average highs stay between 26°C and 29°C all year, so rainfall matters more than heat: showers tend to build from July, and September to November are generally the wettest months, averaging 110mm or more.
One firm planning point: our St Barts villas are not bookable in September, during peak hurricane season.
Historical averages for this area over the past 10 years: typical high and low temperatures, total monthly rainfall and peak wind speed. Conditions vary from year to year.
