Zagara Bianca stands on the edge of the charming village of Savoca, approximately 20 km north of Taormina on Sicily’s eastern coast. Surrounded by spacious panoramic terraces, the villa enjoys beautiful views across the countryside towards Mount Etna and the sea, which lies just 4 km away.
The location makes it easy to reach the beaches of Santa Teresa di Riva and Sant'Alessio, while Letojanni, Taormina and Giardini Naxos are also close by. Further afield, the Alcantara Gorges, Mount Etna and Catania all lie within comfortable reach for days of exploring.
The house covers 240 m² and sits within a 2,000 m² garden, with around 200 m² of terrace given over to life outdoors. At its heart is a salt-water swimming pool measuring 4 by 12 metres, with a uniform depth of 1.30 metres and open from 1 March to 30 November, accompanied by a sun terrace. A terrace shaded by a pergola gathers a barbecue, a bar and a dining area, an ideal setting for meals in the open air. Outside there is also a veranda and a combined bathroom and laundry room, and private parking is provided within the property.
Inside, the rooms are bright, welcoming and furnished with a careful eye for detail. The ground floor is organised around a large living room that brings together a sitting area, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Two double bedrooms, each with a 180 x 210 cm bed and an en-suite shower, are found on this level, along with a guest bathroom with toilet, washbasin and bidet.
The first floor is reached by a comfortable external staircase and functions almost as a second home within the villa, with its own living and dining room, a further kitchen and a veranda. Here there are two double bedrooms with 180 x 200 cm beds, one of them with an en-suite shower, as well as a twin bedroom with two 85 x 195 cm beds and a separate bathroom with shower. In all, the villa sleeps 10 guests across five bedrooms.
Modern comforts run throughout, with air conditioning and heat-pump heating in every room, Wi-Fi, a washer dryer, two dishwashers, seven smart TVs, a small wine cellar and an ice maker. Electricity, water, gas for cooking, table linen and a cot are included, and bed linen and bath towels are changed twice a week, with pool towels changed once a week. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are cleaned mid-week, a final cleaning is included, and a welcome basket of breakfast items awaits on arrival.
