Villas in Asia
Our Asian villas are all in Thailand, mostly on Phuket's Andaman coast, with a smaller choice at Natai Beach, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Expect infinity pools, sea views, private chefs and in-villa spa facilities.
Why Choose Asia for a Luxury Villa Holiday?
On Phuket's west coast, villas sit on headlands and hillsides above the Andaman Sea; on the east coast they face Phang Nga Bay. Almost all of our collection is in Thailand, concentrated on Phuket, with a smaller choice at Natai Beach on the Andaman coast and on the quieter Gulf islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Most plots are on or close to the water, and several are beachfront. If you are choosing one base for a first visit, we would start on Phuket: the choice is widest, and restaurants and shops are usually within a 20-minute drive.
Inside, the pattern is consistent: an infinity pool, terraces and sun loungers, and in many cases a private chef, daily housekeeping and concierge support. Houses of five to eight bedrooms give families, friends and multi-generational groups room to spread out, while couples tend to favour beachfront and design-led villas. Food is a large part of the appeal, with a chef cooking southern Thai curries or grilled fish by the pool, and the sea is close enough that days often end up on the water.
Villa living gives you privacy, staff and space that hotels rarely match. Our table of areas by traveller type sets out where we would put each kind of group.

Temperature units
December to March is the most settled stretch for our Thai villas: skies are clearer, the sea is calmer, and January and February are typically the driest months. Warmth barely changes, with highs usually between 29°C and 32°C all year, so the real variable is rain, which builds from April and tends to peak in September and October. The trade-off is straightforward. The dry months are the busiest, especially around Christmas and New Year, while the green season is quieter and the sea can be rougher on exposed west coasts.
Historical averages for this area over the past 10 years: typical high and low temperatures, total monthly rainfall and peak wind speed. Conditions vary from year to year.
High Season (December-March)
Dry, bright and the easiest time for beach days. Seas are usually at their calmest on the Andaman coast, and highs reach about 32°C in February and March. Christmas and New Year are the peak weeks, so villas are best reserved well ahead. We would base most travellers on Phuket now, with golf and city breaks in Bangkok fitting easily around a beach stay.
Hot Season and First Rains (April-May)
April stays hot and mostly settled, and falls around Songkran, the Thai New Year. By May the monsoon usually begins, with roughly 339mm of rain on average, often in short bursts that leave mornings clear for swimming and paddleboarding. Availability tends to ease as the season turns, which suits flexible travellers.
Green Season (June-August)
Showers tend to arrive in bursts and the landscape is lush, with rainfall typically around 221mm to 281mm a month. Beaches are generally quieter and the pace suits couples and wellness stays built around the villa. July and August overlap with European and North American school holidays, so family bookings fill early. Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, on the Gulf, follow a different weather pattern from Phuket, so check the island before fixing dates.
Wettest Months (September-November)
October is typically the wettest month, averaging around 356mm, and plans work best when kept flexible. Crowds are at their lowest, which suits spa stays, cooking classes and cultural sightseeing between showers. Rainfall eases through November and conditions generally improve ahead of peak season.

Concierge Travel Guide to Asia
Our villas are split between Thailand's Andaman coast, on Phuket and at Natai Beach, and the Gulf islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Most guests arrive through Phuket International, which connects via hubs such as Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Doha, Dubai and Istanbul from Europe, North America, the Middle East and South America; some Phuket villas are around 10 minutes from the terminal. Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Koh Samui airports are the other main gateways, and around half of our villas include private arrival and departure transfers.
Where to Eat
Bangkok is the country's leading dining city, and the Michelin Guide covers Thailand, including Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai and other provinces. Thai cooking rewards curiosity: southern curries, grilled seafood, som tam and mango sticky rice taste quite different from one province to the next. A private chef suits guests who want a market-led Thai menu at the villa, and Thai craft beer and cocktails often pair better with spicier dishes than imported wine.
Beaches
The Andaman coast, including Phuket, Krabi and the Phi Phi islands, has some of Asia's best-known sand, and Naithon and Natai are long, open beaches within easy reach of our Andaman villas. The Gulf islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are quieter. Calmer coves are usually found on less developed headlands, while beach clubs cluster along Phuket's west coast and Samui's northeast. Reaching them by private boat often avoids the busiest stretches.
Golf
Courses around Phuket, Bangkok, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai have made Thailand a long-established golf destination. Several Phuket courses sit among hills and tropical forest, and many have resort facilities. Early tee times are the practical choice, as midday heat is considerable. Your concierge can arrange transfers, caddies and tee times, and a golf-friendly villa makes a useful base.
With Children
Boat trips to the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay combine well with visits to elephant sanctuaries, waterparks and national parks such as Khao Sok. Kayaking, snorkelling and paddleboarding are straightforward from many coastal villas. Choose ethical wildlife operators, and plan boat days for the calmer months, when seas are generally gentler.
Culture
Phuket Old Town is known for its Sino-Portuguese shophouses, while Bangkok has the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and busy markets such as Chatuchak. Ayutthaya's temple ruins and Chiang Mai's temples and night markets show older and northern Thai heritage. Songkran and Loy Krathong are worth building a trip around; Best Time to Visit has the timing.
What We Can Arrange
Our concierge team can set up cooking classes and guided market visits, in-villa treatments, private boat trips and quiet dinners on the terrace. Many villas have a private chef on hand, so a Thai menu can be planned around your first day's arrival.
