Villa Monticelli is a charming residence that gives you complete privacy and serenity with a unique 360° view of the Val d’Orcia - a UNESCO World Heritage site. Whether visiting the villages, enjoying the outdoors, or lounging around the house, it is truly the place where one can experience "la dolce vita" amid the Tuscan countryside.

The villa has a modern and fully equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, six large burners, two ovens, a microwave and a large fridge with a separate freezer and an ice maker. Equipped with an outdoor grill and a pizza oven, the main external patio provides guests with ample opportunities to enjoy alfresco meals.

The house has six large bedrooms easily accessible with the elevator, all furnished with king beds and an additional smaller one with a single bed. All bedrooms feature Wi-Fi and satellite TV, as well as air conditioning. The bedrooms on the top floor all enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the gardens, while those on the bottom floor offer a private entrance into the house. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with showers and a hairdryer. In the basement, there is a large laundry room area with two washing machines and one dryer.

The house’s interior combines a blend of modern designs and art from the owner’s contemporary art collection with antiquities, giving the house a unique character. The living space includes two large rooms perfect for hosting private parties or relaxing with family and friends in front of the fireplace. In addition, there is a large dining room with a table for 12 and a separate space dedicated to an office with a large table and colour printer. Guests will enjoy the large infinity pool, with breathtaking views across the valley which extends from Radicofani to Pienza.

The house is situated on a two-acre, fenced-in property and is immersed in total tranquillity. Note that due to its elevated position (about 600m), even in Summer it gets chilly in the evenings. The estate is thickly wooded and according to the seasons dotted with wild roses, broom, prickly pear, violets and holly. Wildlife including cuckoo birds, pheasants, hares, boars, deer, and porcupines find a perfect home in these woods.

The villa is surrounded by spacious lawns (automatically watered) and terraces with several different outdoor seating areas. Within the property, you will find a unique meditation garden ideal for reading and relaxing and a main garden with a varied rose collection. The gardens are complemented by two large wooden floor decks that provide guests with unique views of the valley and surrounding towns. Guests can also enjoy fresh fruit, eggs and vegetables from the house’s vegetable garden, chicken pen and orchard.
