Located in the heart of the Alpilles, in the renowned village of Les Baux-de-Provence, this 18th-century Provençal farmhouse sits against a craggy rock face beneath the citadel. Set within 5,000 sqm of landscaped gardens and extending over 650 sqm, the property features several rooms carved directly into the cliff and neighbours the legendary three-star restaurant l’Oustau de Baumanière.
Fully renovated in 2022, the house offers air conditioning throughout and contemporary furnishings. Conceived as a maison d’artistes, it showcases nearly 200 works of art, including ceramics, photography and sculptures.
The property accommodates up to 15 guests across eight individually designed bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. A professional-grade kitchen caters to culinary enthusiasts, while an art-inspired gym is available for fitness sessions.
Outdoors, an open-air theatre overlooking the citadel provides a unique setting for concerts, conferences or film screenings. An electric car is also available for exploring the surrounding area.
The village lies within the Alpilles Regional Nature Park, a landscape of garrigue, limestone cliffs, forests and marshland that has inspired artists such as Vincent van Gogh and Jean Cocteau.
