The villa is an impressive building built in 1741, located in the oldest district of Positano, not far from the church of St. Giacomo, and comprises 12 bedrooms, with the option to accommodate an additional 4 single beds, accommodating up to 28 guests. The home offers beautiful antique furniture, paintings and artworks without compromising on modern comforts and conveniences. 

The property is within 1 km from the centre of Positano where you will find supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and speciality boutiques. The closest beach to the villa is Marina Grande Beach 1 kilometre away.

Guests can reach the villa from the main square of Positano by going up an 18th-century street, then crossing a little street and heading up 150 short steps, while passing a perfumed citrus garden.

A car is not necessary to stay at the villa, but if you do have a vehicle, you may park it in a public parking lot for an extra daily fee (valet service included).

Villa Positano is the perfect place for a wedding. The property has an authentic atmosphere and you can enjoy special occasions on the expansive 300m terrace which features a colonnade.

A staircase guides you to the main entrance of the garden level. The lush garden is adorned with bougainvillea, almond, olive, lemon, and mandarin trees. The staff uses these fruits to craft homemade juices and marmalades, a delightful addition to your breakfast.

The extensive main terrace, featuring both dining and living areas under a charming pergola, spans the entire length of the villa and accommodates 16 people. From this vantage point, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Positano and Capri. 

Double doors connect the terrace to the dining/kitchen area and the main living room. An adjacent terrace hosts an infinity- pool, sun beds and an outdoor shower, providing guests with a convenient spot for a refreshing post-swim shower.

The double-sized vaulted ceiling dining room boasts two antique wood tables accommodating 16 people, complemented by comfortable upholstered chairs. The dining area opens to both the kitchen and the expansive terrace.

Partially open to the dining room, the kitchen is fully equipped with professional appliances. A wood-burning oven adds versatility for making pizzas, cooking fish, meats, and fresh bread.

Accessible from the terrace and dining room, the double living room features an entertainment centre with a 55” plasma TV, three seating areas, and large double doors opening to the terrace. This room also houses a library with books in various languages, a work desk with integrated office services (scanner, fax, and copier, all functioning via Wi-Fi), an iPad for guest use, and an iPod with Bluetooth connected to a portable Bose stereo. Two guest bathrooms complete this level.

Note: The garden level also has independent access to a gate that leads to a private path to the Villa Vescovo which is just 100 meters away making both properties the perfect rental accommodation for a larger group.
